I made my first batch in a vintage Saigonese house during the pandemic’s second wave.
Bored with online lessons, I let my curiosity get the better of me and started watching videos on how to make my favorite alcoholic beverage, beer. Its lack of complexity astounded me. So I started gathering the ingredients and used day to day kitchen supplies to make my first ever batch of beer.
I had to wait two weeks for the fermentation process to finally be able to taste my creation. Of course, I wasn’t expecting it to work, I half-expected to completely botch it up. In the end however, it turned out fine, my friends and family tasted it, they loved it.
I had seen what I could do, I brought people joy with my beer, and I knew I could make it so much better as well.
And so, I started Bregenz, a beer company with a message, that beer isn’t just bitter alcoholic water, but an alcoholic beverage that can change flavor according to the temperature, the ingredients used during the brewing process, even the water we use can have certain effects on beer.

Beer has been around for over 5 thousand years, and yet nowadays, it’s simply a cheap beverage used to get drunk.
